IMB Center - Association of Legal Entities
"International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building"
Association of Legal Entitites "International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building" (further - IMB Center or Association) was created as per initiative of the Government of RoK, Operators of largest oil and gas fields in Kazakhstan (Tengizchevroil LLP, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. and North Caspian Operating Company N.V.), which are the sole members of the Association
The purpose of the Association is to promote the manufacturing of oil and gas goods in Kazakhstan and develop local content in the procurement of goods by major Operators.
To promote the development of the production of oil and gas goods in Kazakhstan, linking major Operators with Republic of Kazakhstan's machine building sector through our analyses, qualification, capacity development and investment facilitation initiatives.
A recognized organization that serves as a link between major Operators and competitive, export-oriented, sustainably developing oil and gas machine building industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and contributes to the continuous development of the sector.

Agreement on Intent for establishment of International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building.
IMB Center with support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the RoK, Ministry of Energy of the RoK, major oil and gas Operators Tengizchevroil LLP, North Caspian Operating Company N.V. and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. has conducted the first Forum in Astana, dedicated to the development of oil and gas machine building in Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by representatives of foreign and local machine building enterprises, associations, development institutes and oil and gas companies.
IMB Center held the second Forum dedicated to the development of oil and gas machine building in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Forum became a venue for informing stakeholders about the current activities of the Center, the Forum participants received answers to their questions and exchanged opinions.
In the official part of the Forum, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Kulginov, Vice Minister of Energy A. Khasenov, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development I. Sharhan and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry gave welcoming speeches.

- Asset Magauov studied at the Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after I.M. Gubkina (1994);
- From 1994 to 1998, he held the position of Economist, Deputy Head of division at Tengizmunaigas;
- From 1998 to 2001, he worked as Deputy Head, Head of division, Deputy Director of the Tax and Tariff Policy Department, Deputy Director of the State Asset Management Department of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- In 2001, he held the position of Chief Manager of the Tengiz Project Department of NOC Kazakhoil CJSC;
- From 2001-2002, he worked as Deputy Director of the Service Projects Department of JSC NC Oil and Gas Transport;
- From 2002 to 2004, he worked as Deputy Director, Director of the Department for Management of Share in TCO of NC KazMunayGas JSC;
- From 2004 to 2006, he held the position of Deputy General Director of Tengizchevroil LLP;
- From 2006 to 2008, he worked as Managing Director for stake management of shares in JV of NC KazMunaiGas JSC;
- From 2008 to 2010, he was appointed Vice-Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- From 2010 to 2011, he held the position of Vice Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- From 2011 to 2012, he held the position of General Director of Mangistaumunaigas JSC;
- In 2012-2016, he held the position of General Director of the Association Of Legal Entities “Kazakhstan Association Of Oil-Gas And Energy Sector Organizations “Kazenergy”;

- In 2024, he was appointed General Director of the International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building in 2021;

- S. Sarsengaliyev studied at the Kazakh National Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev with the qualification of engineer – technologist, specializing in automation and systems engineering.
- He received a Master's degree in oil and gas business management from the Kazakh-British Technical University.
- S. Sarsengaliyev holds the position of Deputy General Director of the International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building since 2021.
- In 2019 – 2021 he held the position of the Head of the Administration "Department of Construction of Nur-Sultan city”.
- In 2016-2019, he was the Social Projects Manager at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.
- In 2015-2016 he worked as Business Development Manager at the Service Center of KazTurboRemont LLP.
- Previously worked for Agip KCO, Honeywell, Invensys.
- He received the State award - the Certificate of Merit from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Letter of Commendation from the Akim of Nur-Sultan, a Letter of Appreciation from the Akim of West Kazakhstan Oblast and other distinctive certificate and awards.
- D. Abishev studied at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting, specializing in Public Administration.
- He earned a Master of Engineering and Technology degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from Kazakh-British Technical University, as well as a Master of International Business degree from Cesar University in Switzerland.
- D. Abishev holds the position of Deputy General Director of the International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building since 2021.
- In 2015 – 2021 he held the position of Director of the Department of Procurement Methodology and Development of Local Content of "PSA" LLP.
- From 2013-2015 he worked as Chief Expert of the Industrial and Innovative Development Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- In 2010-2013 he worked as an expert, chief expert, head of department in the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, letters of Commendation from the Akim of the West Kazakhstan Oblast and the Chairman of the Board of KAZENERGY.
