Our activities
IMB Center operates on a non-profit basis, does not provide financial support or invest in the activities of other legal entities or individuals.
IMB Center contributes to the development of locally-manufactured oil and gas goods for the needs of the oil and gas industry, in particular Operators, by analyzing the demands of Operators and the capabilities of local manufacturers of oil and gas equipment.
IMB Center develops recommendations on the directions of development of oil and gas machine building in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and technical regulations governing the activities of oil and gas machine building, as well as the expansion of opportunities of in-country value to ensure competitiveness in procurement carried out by subsoil users, including Members of the Association.

To date, IMB Center has analyzed more than 190 local manufacturers of oil and gas goods, of which 123 were visited by Center.
In 2021-2022, out of 123 manufacturers under Commodity Groups A and B, a list of 39 manufacturers has been identified that produce goods with relatively high demands amongst the three Operators.
Center prepares individual Capacity Development Plans for companies that have expressed a desire to participate in the IMB Center's initiatives in developing the capabilities of local producers.
