Our activities
IMBC operates on a non-profit basis, does not provide financial support or invest in the activities of other legal entities or individuals.
IMBC contributes to the development of locally-manufactured oil and gas goods for the needs of the oil and gas industry, in particular Operators, by analyzing the demands of Operators and the capabilities of local manufacturers of oil and gas equipment.
IMBC develops recommendations on the directions of development of oil and gas machine building in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and technical regulations governing the activities of oil and gas machine building, as well as the expansion of opportunities of in-country value to ensure competitiveness in procurement carried out by subsoil users, including Members of the Association.

To date, IMBC has visited more than 300 companies.
During 2021–2026, a list of more than 90 manufacturers producing goods with relatively high demand among Operators was compiled.
Based on the production assessment results, IMBC prepares an Advanced Gap Analysis Report (AGAR) for manufacturers that have expressed a desire to participate in IMBC initiatives, aimed at addressing identified non-conformities with international standards and major Operators’ requirements.
