Visits to Industrial Enterprises in West Kazakhstan Oblast

On 15 October, as part of the Forum on Oil and Gas Machine-Building and Operators’ Open Doors Day, a series of site visits to industrial enterprises in the West Kazakhstan Oblast took place in Uralsk.

Participants visited the production facilities of JSC UralskAgroRemMash, West Oil Engineering Company LLP, and JSC West Kazakhstan Machine-Building Company, where they learned about the production capabilities and industrial potential of the region’s enterprises.

The delegation was led by Yerlan Akbarov, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Deputies of the Kuryltai of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the management of KazMunayGas, representatives of PSA, and executives of major oil and gas operators. Among them were William Lacobie, General Director of TCO; Marco Marsili, General Director of KPO; Zhandos Orazaliyev, Deputy Managing Director of NCOC; and Dastan Abishev, General Director of IMBC took part in the visits.

The enterprises visited manufacture measurement, metering and automation systems for the oil and gas industry, firefighting equipment including specialized vehicles, steel structures, and large-scale oil and gas equipment in demand across the sector.

During the site visits, the companies presented their technological capabilities, while discussions focused on enhancing production capacity and expanding cooperation with operators of major oil and gas projects.

The visits highlighted the West Kazakhstan Oblast’s growing industrial potential and contributed to strengthening partnerships among government authorities, local manufacturers, and major oil and gas operators.
