IMBC Held an Awards Ceremony to Mark Its 5th Anniversary
As part of the celebration of IMBC’s 5th anniversary, an awards ceremony was held to recognize employees of KPO, TCO, NCOC and IMBC for their contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas engineering industry.
Congratulatory remarks were delivered by Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kaiyrkhan Tutkyshbayev, KPO General Director Marco Marsili, TCO General Director William Lacobie, and NCOC Managing Director Giancarlo Ruiu.
The Vice Minister of Energy wished IMBC continued success, the successful implementation of new projects, and a strengthened contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry.
Marco Marsili, Chairman of the General Meeting and General Director of KPO, highly appreciated the results of IMBC’s activities and emphasized the importance of bringing together the efforts of the three major Operators to develop oil and gas engineering and advance production localization in Kazakhstan. He noted that IMBC’s activities are important for the industry as a whole.
William Lacobie, General Director of TCO, expressed his appreciation to IMBC and noted that over the past five years, the Centre has gone through a challenging and dynamic journey. He highlighted IMBC’s significant potential to promote localization and attract international OEM manufacturers to Kazakhstan.
Giancarlo Ruiu, Managing Director of NCOC, congratulated the IMBC team and the Operators on the Centre’s fifth anniversary, highlighting the achievements made over this period and the growing recognition of IMBC’s activities. At the same time, he emphasized that IMBC’s potential has not yet been fully realized, creating opportunities for further expansion of its activities.

As part of the ongoing anniversary celebration, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kaiyrkhan Tuktkyshbayev presented Certificates of Honour from the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a number of employees of the Operators and IMBC, in recognition of their professional contribution and active participation in joint efforts.

Furthermore, in celebration of IMBC’s fifth anniversary, commemorative statuettes were presented to representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Operators as a symbol of appreciation for their fruitful cooperation and joint contribution to the development of the industry.

IMBC General Director Dastan Abishev noted: “Over its five years of activity, IMBC has established an effective platform for cooperation between the Government, Operators, international manufacturers and domestic enterprises, aimed at advancing localization, expanding industrial cooperation and enhancing the competitiveness of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas engineering industry.”
