IMBC and TCO Delegation Visits Production Enterprises in West Kazakhstan Region
May 19, 2026 A joint delegation from the International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building (IMBC) and the executive management of Tengizchevroil (TCO) held a working visit to the West Kazakhstan Region. The purpose of the visit was to assess the region’s industrial potential and promote in-country value (ICV) growth within the procurement processes of major oil and gas operators.
As part of the visit in Uralsk, an exhibition showcasing local manufacturers was hosted at the "Atameken" Palace of Culture, followed by an expanded meeting with the Regional Akimat and the local business community. Kaliyar Aitmuhambetov, Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region, delivered the welcoming speech to the participants. During the session Kuanyshkerei Mukhtarov, Deputy General Director of Tengizchevroil LLP, Dastan Abishev, General Director of IMBC, and Nurzhan Utepbayev, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development of the West Kazakhstan Region gave presentations.
Within the practical segment of the visit, the delegation toured several key machine-building and service facilities in the region that had previously undergone preliminary technical assessments by IMBC experts. These included Uralskagroremmash JSC, Topan LLP, Synthesis Ural LLP, Nitrogen Plant LLP, West Kazakhstan Machine-Building Company JSC (ZKMK), and Research Institute Hydropribor JSC.

Following the industrial site tours, Tengizchevroil’s management expressed strong interest in expanding collaboration with domestic manufacturers in the West Kazakhstan Region for their subsequent integration into the operator's supply chain. In turn, IMBC intends to maintain its systematic efforts to develop the capabilities of regional enterprises.
