IMB Center held a Forum on the development of oil & gas machine building
On 14 April 2023 in Astana IMB Center hosted annual Forum, dedicated to the development of oil & gas machine building in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Forum was arranged with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the RoK, Ministry of Energy of the RoK, and major oil & gas Operators: Tengizchevroil LLP, North Caspian Operating Company N.V. and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.
In the official part of the Forum, the welcoming speech was made by the Deputy Prime Minister of the RoK A. Kulginov, Vice-Minister of Energy of the RoK A. Khassenov, Vice-Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the RoK I. Sharkhan and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry M. Pshembayev.
During the Forum, presentations were made by the management of major Operators, General Director of KPO G. Ruiu, Managing Director of NCOC O. Lazare and Deputy General Director of TCO K. Suyessinov on the activities at Karachaganak, Kashagan and Tengiz fields.
M. Karimov, General Director of IMB Center, gave a detailed presentation to provide local and international manufacturers, relevant state authorities and other stakeholders with information on the results and future plans of IMB Center.
The event brought together more than 200 representatives of foreign and local oil & gas machine building companies, associations and development institutions as well as oil & gas companies.
The Forum is aimed at informing stakeholders about the results of the Center’s activities and upcoming plans; the participants received answers to their questions and exchanged their opinions.
