IMB Center held a Round Table within the framework of the KIOGE 2022

On 29 September 2022 IMB Center hosted a Round Table within the framework of the 28th Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference KIOGE 2022 on the topic: "Prospects for the development of oil and gas machine building in the Republic of Kazakhstan". The Round Table was attended by management of RoK Energy Ministry, the major oil & gas Operators: Tengizchevroil LLP, North Caspian Operating Company N.V., Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., as well as foreign and local oil & gas machine building companies.

During the Round Table IMB Center gave a detailed presentation to provide participants with information on the results and future plans of IMB Center.

At the Round Table the participants discussed current problems and possible ways to solve them, namely the level of commitment Operators can provide to the localizing OEMs, including the procurement mechanisms to support in-country value, issues of master contracts amongst Operators and their influence on competitiveness in the market, also issues with obtaining land for their production facilities. During the discussion the participants exchanged their views on issues of interest to them.

IMB Center also took part in panel sessions of the Conference and visited the KIOGE 2022 exhibition.
