IMBC and AmCham Kazakhstan Sign Memorandum of Understanding
The International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building (IMBC) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan (AmCham Kazakhstan) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Astana.
The Memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation on the localization of international OEMs in Kazakhstan and increasing In-Country Value (ICV) in the oil and gas machine building sector. Under the agreement, the parties will work together to support the entry of foreign equipment manufacturers into local production, exchange expertise and information, and maintain an ongoing dialogue with the business community on localization matters.
The signing reflects the shared commitment of IMBC and AmCham Kazakhstan to building a long-term partnership and creating favorable conditions for technology transfer and the growth of Kazakhstan's industrial capacity. Both sides expect the agreement to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the country's oil and gas machine-building sector.
IMBC continues to serve as a platform for dialogue between industry and stakeholders, supporting the growth of local production and strengthening business ties between Kazakhstani and international companies.
