Thematic Sessions Featuring Leading Oil and Gas Companies Held as Part of the Oil and Gas Engineering Forum in Uralsk

On 16 October 2026, thematic sessions featuring IMBC, CDIF, major oil and gas Operators, and companies in the oil and gas chemical industry were held as part of the Oil and Gas Engineering Forum and Operators’ Open Doors Day in Uralsk.

During the first part of the session, representatives of IMBC and CDIF presented information on international ASME and API standards and certifications, as well as measures to support investment projects implemented by local manufacturers.

Presentations were subsequently delivered by representatives of leading oil and gas companies, including TCO, KPO, and NCOC. The speakers provided an overview of their companies’ procurement activities, demand for equipment and products, and opportunities for local manufacturers to participate in their supply chains.

The session continued with presentations by KMG PetroChem and Silleno, whose representatives outlined their companies’ areas of activity and prospects for cooperation with Kazakhstan enterprises in the supply of equipment, components, and industrial products.

In parallel with the procurement session, B2B meetings were held at the Operators’ exhibition pavilions. These meetings enabled local manufacturers to engage directly with company representatives, discuss technical product requirements, clarify the specifications of equipment in demand, and identify potential areas for further cooperation.

At the same time, a delegation comprising representatives of major Operators visited the exhibition of local manufacturers organized in front of the Atameken Palace of Culture. A total of 40 Kazakhstan companies participated in the exhibition, showcasing their products, manufacturing capabilities, and solutions for the oil and gas industry.

The procurement session, B2B meetings, and exhibition brought together presentations of the Operators’ procurement needs and demonstrations of local manufacturers’ capabilities, creating opportunities for direct dialogue between buyers and potential suppliers.

Such events are an important instrument for developing the oil and gas engineering industry in Kazakhstan. They help increase the participation of local enterprises in the supply chains of major oil and gas companies and expand opportunities for localizing production in the country.
