IMBC participated in the Kazakhstan-Italy Forum on Energy Transition and Supply Chain Development
The Forum, dedicated to energy transition and supply chain development, was held in Kazakhstan, bringing together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and leading companies to discuss sustainable development and regional cooperation.
The Forum opened with speeches by high-ranking representatives of Kazakhstan’s government bodies and international partners, who emphasized the strategic role of supply chains in ensuring the energy transition. During the sessions, participants discussed the implementation of "smart" energy solutions, industrial transformation, and the localization of production with the participation of international companies such as Eni, Chevron, Baker Hughes, and KazMunayGas.
IMBC was represented by General Director Dastan Abishev, who served as a speaker in the session titled "Assessing the Readiness of the Local Supply Chain in the Petrochemical Industry." During the discussion, he emphasized the importance of developing local competencies and strengthening Kazakhstan’s industrial ecosystem.

The Forum also examined practical case studies focused on the transition to renewable energy sources. Participants noted the necessity of enhancing cooperation between the state, business, and international partners to ensure sustainable economic growth in the region.
