As a result of joint work with IMB Center, Kazenergokabel JSC first received international IEC certificates in Kazakhstan

Thanks to cooperation with IMB Center, Kazenergokabel JSC has become the first domestic manufacturer of cable and wire products in Kazakhstan to receive International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) certificate.

International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) – is an international standards organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies.

“According to the ongoing work of IMB Center for the development of local manufacturers, an individual Capacity Development Plan was developed for Kazenergokabel JSC, which contains recommendations for addressing existing gaps, in addition, IMB Center provided technical and expert support in obtaining certificates of international standards” – noted Dastan Abishev, General Director of IMB Center.

He also additionally emphasized: “Also Currently obtaining such international certificates allows to significantly expand the potential of the Kazakhstani manufacturer and opens new export opportunities, which significantly increases their competitiveness in the global market”.

It should also be noted that one of the Operators has already awarded a full-fledged contract to this manufacturer for the supply of cable products.

This event is an excellent example of collaboration between manufacturers, IMB Center and three major Operators.
