IMB Center participated in the round table of the National Institute of Intellectual Property

On 9 September 2022, IMB Center took part in a round table discussion at the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Qazpatent) on "Creating Innovation, Current Issues of Protection and Supporting its Further Development". The event was held in a hybrid format and was attended by the Vice-Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akerke Akhmetova, representatives of Qazpatent, the Science Foundation, the QazTrade Center for Trade Policy Development JSC, JSC “Kazakhstan Industry and Export Center “Qazindustry”, Center for Science and Technology Initiatives, Nazarbayev University, oil and gas machine building companies, as well as scientists, inventors.

At the round table, Marat Karimov, General Director of IMB Center, spoke about the IMB Centre's core activities, and during the presentation he highlighted the status of Industry 4.0 implementation in the oil and gas machine building industry.

Also, the round table covered issues of Qazpatent's activities, measures of state support for domestic exporters and industry incentives, state policy in the commercialisation of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activity, patenting of technical solutions, integration of science and business, commercialisation of intellectual property, development of companies through research and development work
