IMBC visited industrial enterprises in Aktau

On August 21, 2025, International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building (IMBC) took part in the visit of the Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) delegation to Aktau.

As part of the program, the delegates visited industrial enterprises in the region producing pipe products, insulation materials, chemicals, and other goods in demand in the oil and gas industry.

The visit was attended by the member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Edil Zhanbyrshin, representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KPO management, the Akimat of Mangystau region and PSA LLP.

In the afternoon, a round table with the participation of industrial enterprises was held under the chairmanship of the Akim of Mangystau region, Nurdaulet Kilybay. The meeting addressed mechanisms for the development of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry and the role of goods localization in the implementation of large-scale oil and gas projects in the country. The visit concluded with an exhibition of local manufacturers’ products.

IMBC will continue its work to increase the share of local content in Kazakhstan’s oil and gas machine building sector in cooperation with Operators, government bodies and domestic companies.
