IMBC participated in the KPO Forum "Development of local content at the Karachaganak project".

On April 4, 2025 in Uralsk, as part of the ongoing work of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of in-country value in major oil and gas projects, the Forum "Development of local content at the Karachaganak project" was held.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of the West Kazakhstan region, General Director of IMB Center Dastan Abishev, representatives of NCE Atameken, PSA LLP and more than 30 domestic manufacturers.

This Forum is aimed at developing local content and supporting domestic manufacturers of oil and gas equipment, as well as suppliers of works (services), by demonstrating the goods purchased by KPO and the quality requirements of the purchased products.

Within the framework of the Forum, a contract was signed with the domestic producer UralskAgroRemMash JSC for the supply of specialized vehicles and a Memorandum of Cooperation with West Oil LLP.

During the Forum, a number of production facilities of oil and gas equipment manufacturers in the West Kazakhstan region were visited with the participation of KPO CEO Marco Marsili, General Dirdector of IMB Center Dastan Abishev and the management of UralskAgroRemMash JSC, West Oil LLP, West Kazakhstan Engineering Company JSC, QazExpoCentre-Pipe LLP and KaspiMunaiKapital LLP. During the meetings, issues of current activities, production potential and prospects for industrial development of the plants were discussed.

This event was another step in the government's efforts to increase Kazakhstan's content in the procurement of large subsurface users of the oil and gas sector and support domestic producers of goods, as well as suppliers of works (services).
