IMBC continues its systematic efforts to expand the participation of domestic manufacturers in the implementation of major investment projects and to increase the share of in-country value

An IMBC delegation conducted a series of working meetings with the management and specialists of leading industrial enterprises in Almaty and the Almaty Region. The visit included site tours of Almaty Heavy Machinery Plant JSC, Alem Tynysy LLP, Almaty Fan Plant LLP, Avrora Electric LLP, and several other manufacturing enterprises. The visit was organized by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) as part of its interregional cooperation initiatives aimed at strengthening collaboration between domestic manufacturers and major industrial buyers.

The primary objective of the visit was to familiarize the delegation with the production capacities and technological capabilities of the enterprises, as well as to discuss opportunities for production localization and expanding the participation of manufacturers from Almaty and the Almaty Region in the supply chains of major oil and gas projects.

The key event of the program was a roundtable discussion, during which participants addressed the development of the machine-building industry, enhancing the competitiveness of Kazakhstani products, production localization, and expanding cooperation between industrial enterprises and major customers.

The event was held with the support of the Akimat of Almaty and brought together Yerlan Barlybayev, Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PSA LLP, KPO, and domestic manufacturers.

IMBC General Director Dastan Abishev stated:

"Today, the domestic manufacturing industry faces the challenge not only of increasing production volumes but also of enhancing the technological readiness of enterprises to participate in the implementation of the country's largest investment projects. IMBC serves as a platform that brings together manufacturers, customers, and government institutions to build sustainable industrial supply chains and foster the development of a competitive machine-building sector in Kazakhstan."

During the roundtable, IMBC presented the existing support mechanisms available to domestic manufacturers and explained the requirements that major customers apply when selecting potential suppliers. Particular attention was given to technological modernization, the implementation of international quality standards, and increasing the level of production localization.

These regional visits form part of IMBC's ongoing efforts to strengthen industrial cooperation and expand the participation of Kazakhstani manufacturers in the country's major investment projects.

Following the visit, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further developing cooperation on projects aimed at advancing Kazakhstan's machine-building industry, promoting production localization, and increasing the participation of domestic enterprises in the supply chains of major industrial projects.
