During the visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the United States, a Memorandum was signed between IMBC and Chemelex LLC
During the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the United States, in which IMBC was part of the official delegation, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Chemelex LLC (USA) and International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building (IMBC).
The official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding took place on the sidelines of the “Central Asia – USA” Summit. The signed Memorandum aims to localize the production of self-regulating heating cables in Kazakhstan, targeting the needs of the oil and gas, mining and metallurgical sectors, as well as industrial and infrastructure facilities. The implementation of this project will reduce import dependency, increase the share of local content in major projects, and ensure the transfer of technology to Kazakhstan.
The signing of the Memorandum is expected to create new jobs and involve kazakh companies in production chains. The project will make a significant contribution to strengthening the national industrial base and developing the high-tech segment of machine building sector.

This Memorandum became part of a broader set of agreements reached during the President’s visit to the United States. In total, 29 bilateral documents worth approximately 17 billion US dollars were signed between Kazakhstan and the United States, covering the fields of industry, energy, digitalization, education, and innovation.
