IMBC and major oil and gas Operators visited industrial enterprises in Aktau

On October 9, Aktau, as part of the Oil and Gas machine building Forum and Operators’ Open Doors Day, field visits were organized to the industrial enterprises of Aktau with the participation of government authorities, International center for development of oil and gas machine building (IMBC), and major oil and gas operators – Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO), North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC) and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO).
In order to cover a larger number of production sites and ensure a comprehensive introduction to the activities of regional enterprises, the delegation, consisting of representatives of government authorities, major oil and gas Operators, and IMBC members, was divided into four working groups. This format made it possible to conduct a more detailed study of technological processes and establish direct dialogue with representatives of machine building plants and local manufacturers.
The main delegation included Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kudaibergen Arymbek, Deputy General Director of PSA LLP Nurzhan Kismetov, as well as executives of major oil and gas Operators Marco Marsili (KPO), Giancarlo Ruiu (NCOC), William Lacobi (TCO), Alik Aidarbayev (KKO), and IMBC General Director Dastan Abishev.
The delegation visited enterprises such as ATV Kazakhstan LLP, Kazakhstan Pipe Threaders LLP, and Sewon-Vertex Heavy Industry LLP, etc. These companies manufacture valves, piping products, heat exchangers, air coolers, and HVAC systems.
During the field visits, the production capacities and technological capabilities of the enterprises were presented, and discussions were held on expanding cooperation, increasing localization, and strengthening the production potential of domestic machine building.
The conducted visits contributed to strengthening partnerships between government agencies, national manufacturers, and major oil and gas companies, as well as promoting the active involvement of regional enterprises in IMBC’s activities.
