On October 2, 2024, technical experts of IMBC presented an analysis of the needs under Commodity Group A (Electrical equipment, Instrumentation and Valves) during the Seminar on the possibilities of localization of goods at large projects Tengiz, Kashagan and Karashaganak.

During the Plenary session of the Seminar, technical manager of IMB Center Temirkhan Alibay presented a Capacity Development Plan (CDP), during which approaches to the development of CDP and generalized technical requirements set by large oil and gas Operators were demonstrated, as well as a practical example of a developed Capacity Development Plan. Moreover, IMB Center certification expert Azamat Boguspayev spoke in detail about the certification requirements, namely the importance of international certification and the process of obtaining certification using the example of IECEE.

In the afternoon, during the Special session, technical experts Adilzhan Nurtazayev and Yerlan Iran, and certification expert Azamat Boguspayev made presentations on the main technical requirements under Commodity Group A. The experts of IMB Center spoke in detail about all the requirements for shut-off valves, electrical equipment and instrumentation and automation, separately they demonstrated the main types of equipment and their consolidated forecast demand for these products. During the discussions, answers to the questions raised by the participants of the event were provided.
