A center for the manufacture of highly engineered valves opened in West-Kazakhstan Region
On June 27, in Aksai, West Kazakhstan region (WKR), with the support of the ALE "International Center for Development of Oil and Gas Machine Building" (IMB Center), held an opening ceremony of the center for the manufacture and service of highly engineered valves.
The project has been developed by PetrolValves S.p.A., a leading company in flow solutions for the Energy industry, and Merlion Development Group LLP through the joint venture PetrolValves Kazakhstan LLP. The total investment amounted to above of 3 billion tenge.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the Akim of WKR G. Iskaliyev, the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Borli district of WKR, strategic partners: Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., North Caspian Operating Company N.V., Tengizchevroil LLP and Total E&P Dunga, as well as representatives of other oil and gas producing enterprises and the Italian business community.
It is expected that more than 40 people will be permanently employed.
The activities of the technological center of PetrolValves Kazakhstan LLP are aimed at supporting the Kazakhstani and regional oil and gas and energy industries. The plant plans to produce highly technology valves and provide full maintenance services according to international standards.
