Participation of the IMB Center in the opening of the WIKA Kazakhstan Plant for Control and Measurement Instruments in Atyrau

WIKA, a German original equipment manufacturer and a global leader in pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurement technology, as well as control and measurement instruments, has been producing high-tech products since 1946. These products include electric contact pressure gauges, manometric and bimetallic thermometers, high-pressure gauges, pressure and temperature transducers designed for the oil, gas, chemical, and food industries.
The WIKA Kazakhstan plant, established by "Wika Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG," specializes in the production of pressure and temperature control and measurement instruments, as well as electronic temperature sensors and media isolators.

The Atyrau site will produce and deliver pressure gauges, diaphragm seals and electronic temperature measuring instruments such as resistance thermometers, thermocouples.

It is anticipated that by 2025, the plant will employ 20 people. In addition to the inauguration of the manufacturing facility, a center for the repair and servicing of control and measurement equipment has also been launched. It is planned that a laboratory for equipment calibration will be opened in 2024.
WIKA Kazakhstan actively collaborates with local suppliers and manufacturers to increase local production and reduce logistical costs. The opening of local WIKA production should have a positive impact on the level of intra-country value in the purchase of instrumentation products by large operators, since at the moment this indicator remains very low.
